DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS


There will be a First Priority Worship Night tonight at 6 pm at Southside Baptist Church. The speaker will be Sean White.  Everyone is welcome to come!



The Alabama News Wire is looking for student reporters for next school year. If you are interested in being a part of the FCHS team for next school year, you must complete an application and return it Friday, May 15th. Applications can be picked up in the FCHS office. Interviews will be completed the last week of school.



Boys basketball tryouts will be Wednesday May 20th. If you are interested in trying out please sign up outside of Coach Kelly’s door. You must have a current physical to try out.


Girls Basketball tryouts will be Wednesday May 13th. Any girl interested in trying out please sign up outside of Coach Kelly’s room. You must have a current physical to tryout.



Softball Tryouts will be held Thursday May 14th after school. If you are interested in trying out please let Coach Kelly know. You must have a current physical to try out.


There will be a tennis interest meeting for anyone considering playing for next season in Coach Sullivan’s room Thursday during Tiger block.



Baseball Tryouts will be held Thursday May 21st after school 3:30 - 5:30. You must have a current physical to try out.


There is a sign up sheet in the office for any student who wants to take Drivers Ed this summer. The cost for this class is $200 per student. All classwork is virtual and driving times are weekly in person. You must have a valid Alabama learners permit to take this course.


Parking 

Something new with parking decals! Students that begin driving to campus in September can purchase their decal at a discounted rate of $27. Decal prices will decrease $3 each month of the school year for new drivers.

Please be sure to complete the parking google form prior to purchase. Anyone driving to campus WITHOUT a decal will receive a parking ticket. Please see Mrs. Freeman for more information.

Anonymous Reporting

FCHS has two ways to make anonymous reports.  Place a note in Mrs. Sanford's drop box located right inside the office window or you can go to the school website and click on the speak up app. If you want to be anonymous, do not add your name. If you want to make a report and get feedback, send Mrs. Sanford an email using your school email. Remember if you see something, say something!

Tiger Block Sign-out Form -ORANGE days only

Students can request academic help or to makeup tests or assignments during Tiger Block on Fridays. They may also attend club meetings announced for that day. In order to leave Tiger Block, students complete the following Google form and both teachers must give permission.
